The intention of the Artisans’ Guild Australia is to provide encouragement to all artisans who approach their work with integrity, a high level of commitment to their work and a desire to learn.
Membership provides benefits such as mutual assistance and fellowship with other artisans, access to key people in related industries, project and commission referrals. M
Masters
The Master is nominated by their peers and their work will have undergone scrutiny by others who are highly skilled in the same areas and will be deemed to be of expert standard. In general they will have made a lifetime career of their craft and can be regarded as an authority
Fellows
Fellows are nominated by their peers in the Guild. They will have been a member of the Guild for a specified period, and their work has been scrutinised by a certification committee and they are deemed to be fully conversant with all aspects of their particular field and deliver work of a very high standard.
Membership
Our members are those who are working in their chosen trade or craft, and who have a keen interest in developing their skills and knowledge further.
Friends of the Guild
The Artisans’ Guild Australia has patrons and Friends who support the Guild and its endeavours in a variety of ways. Friends of the Guild are welcome at meetings and other functions. They receive our general notices detailing Guild meetings and activities and have access to the expertise of Guild members.
